STUDENT WORK - GIF Animations

Course: Foundations Level - Time & Motion

Using a variety of animation skills in Lightroom and Photoshop, students shift their understanding of digital media towards elements such as time and motion. Students enhance their knowledge of composition, lighting, post processing and add skills such as using cuts, pacing, and timing. The lesson also covers the history of the GIF tracing it from its origins in the 1980s, Web 1.0 social media, and the current ubiquitous presence of GIFs in Web 2.0 culture.
