A new video work, "The Razor's Edge", will premiere at the upcoming contemporary art fair Art San Diego in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA, USA. Produced in association with ShipInTheWoods and the San Diego Visual Arts Network.
The work will be featured in the VIP Lounge on Friday, November 6th, 2015.

I'm very pleased to have two pieces in the current show at the San Diego Art Institute. The sound work "Cacophony (24hr News Cycle)" and the large photographic work "Feelings Are Overrat'd" are both featured in the exhibition in the heart of Balboa Park, the true gem of San Diego. Cognitive Camouflage is a group exhibition whose collective works delve into the many aspects of social anxiety in the postmodern era. Mediums such as installation, sound, film, painting and interactive performance will be displayed. WSOHOIDPS will present a deep examination of contemporary social anxiety topics that range from the cliché of “fitting in” to the increasing pinch of systemic oppression.

(i want to be private) is a collaborative project between myself and fellow artist David Shere. We have combined our skills to create an digital video/physical computing installation that creates an interactive engagement between the viewer and a digital surrogate, or a digital representation of a person. More photos and video coming soon. We will be working together over the next year to refine and develop the project until it is ready to tour. I am very excited about this new work and look forward to seeing it travel to many different festivals and institutions. A working prototype of this piece debuted at the UC San Diego Art Gallery from December 3-5th, 2014.
The PUBLIC ART ARCHIVE project is a national effort to increase public awareness and stewardship of public artworks. The Public Art Archive database is a free, online and mobile accessible catalog of completed public artworks worldwide. It was launched in 2010 and continues to grow both in content and features.
The Archive houses tens of thousands of public artwork records in a single, centrally located database, making these works easily accessible to all audiences, including researchers, authors, academics, policy-makers, tourists, artists, administrators, and the general public. The database is available from any computer for full searching and filtering, and the mobile-optimized site helps bridge the gap between artworks in the physical world and the information in the digital database.

I am very excited to be a part of an upcoming exhibition at PUNCH Gallery in Seattle, Washington. The exhibition will run from November 21, 2013 - December 21, 2013. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on December 5.
The show was juried by Rock Hushka, Curator of Contemporary and Northwest Art at the Tacoma Art Museum.
The video of I Go Humble... will be on display along with works from 15 other artists from across the country.

Selected by noted Atlanta art critic Jerry Cullum, 100 at 100 features one hundred works of art by Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Alumni. The exhibit celebrates the breadth and accomplishment of Welch School Alumni and the Georgia State University Centennial.
I will be relocating this month to San Diego to begin an MFA Art + Technology program at the University of California San Diego. After two years of searching, I decided on UCSD as my new home. I am so proud and humbled to say that I was awarded a full merit scholarship by the program. I can not wait to become a part of the UCSD department and look forward to pushing my work forward. This opportunity would not be possible without the support of family, friends, and especially groups like Flux Projects. Thank you.

The Art Papers Art Auction returned to Mason Murer Fine Art for the 14th year this weekend. As with previous years, the large crowd quaffed white wine and bid often on the hundreds of works of art being shown. Photographer Heather Hendricks collected scenes from the night.
